- Truffles can be one of those recipes that seem imitating and difficult, but they're very easy.
- So step one: pep talk.
- Place your chocolate in a bowl
- Heat your heavy whipping cream until a simmer.
- Make sure to stirr so the cream doesnt curdle.
- Pour your heated cream onto the chocolate and do not stir.
- Do not touch.
- Ignore it.
- For at least five minutes
- Once those five minutes are up, you are allowed to stir.
- Stir stir stir.
- Then cover that mixture up with tinfoil and plop that sucker into the fridge
- I went plain jane on that one, but if you wanted to add any of the flavorings feel free to before popping it into the fridge.
- Let that mixture chill out over night
- Once the mixtures hardens prepare yourself for brown hands.
- Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and rolls between your hands.
- Once all the balls are formed put back into the fridge for at least half an hour.
- You can prepare your toppings in the meantime
- When rolling your truffles anything nuts and pretzels make sure to press gently on the balls when you roll them in the topping so it sticks.
- Put them in the fridge until ready to serve
