Mexican Tarts Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In small bowl, mix lowfat sour cream, taco sauce, green pepper and chips; set aside.
  3. In large bowl mix beef, oats, taco seasoning mix and cool water.
  4. Press meat mix into bottom and up sides of 1 1/2 inch miniature muffin c., forming a shell.
  5. Place a spoonful of lowfat sour cream mix in each shell, mounding slightly.
  6. Sprinkle cheese atop tarts.
  7. Bake at 425 degrees for 7 to 8 min.
  8. Place jalapeno pepper on each tart immediately after taking from oven.
  9. Yield 30 tarts.
