Perfect Pastry

• 1/2 pound vegetable shortening
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups flour, all-purpose
• 1/2 cup water cold

1. Method: Cream shortening and butter.
2. Stir in salt and flour.
3. Cream well.
4. Add water and mix thoroughly.
