Frosted Lemon Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Combine all cookie ingredients in bowl.
  3. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  6. Combine all glaze ingredients in bowl; stir until smooth.
  7. Frost warm cookies with glaze.
  8. Sprinkle with additional lemon zest, if desired.
