Chicken Pasta Casserole
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 28 oz. Del Monte Chunky Tomatoes, Pasta Style
- 1 can (2 1/4 oz.) sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 can (4 oz.) Sliced mushrooms, stems and pieces, drained
- 12 oz. spaghetti, cooked
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Choose one or none: l lb. cooked seasoned ground meat or 1 lb. cooked seasoned chicken pieces, cubed
- In a large skillet, saute onion, green pepper in oleo.
- Add tomatoes, mushrooms and olives.
- Add meat or chicken, if desired. Simmer uncovered for a few minutes.
- Place half of the spaghetti in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish.
