Elderberry Catsup

  1. Cook elderberries in vinegar until berries burst.
  2. Put berries through a food press or sieve, add sugar, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and pepper.
  3. Simmer until thickens.
  4. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
  5. Process as directed by manufacture.
