Herbed Lamburgers Recipe
- 1 pound grnd lamb
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd cardamom
- 1 tbsp. ginger butter (unsalted butter with grated fresh ginger root mashed in)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lg. clove chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp. minced chervil
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed mint, optional
- Combine lamb, crumbs, salt, pepper and egg.
- Add in herbs and spices and mix well.
- Form into burger patties and dot with the ginger butter.
- Place under the broiler till desired doneness.
- Serve with buttered noodles, yellow beans and spinach mushroom salad.
