Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Raisin Cookies
- 1 pound butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar white
- 2 cups brown sugar dark, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 cups walnuts chopped
- 2 cups raisins, seedless
- 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
- Cream butter and sugars.
- Add eggs, vanilla, flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Beat for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add chips and nuts, or raisins and oatmeal for oatmeal cookies.
- Cover cookie sheet with wax paper.
- Scoop dough out with a large spoon.
- Place 2 inch apart on sheet; change wax paper for every new batch.
- Bake at 350F (180C).
- for 8 to 11 minutes.
