Norma'S Emergency Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- dash of garlic flakes or chopped garlic bud
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
- 3 oz. wide noodles
- small can English peas
- small amount oleo
- grated mild Cheddar cheese
- Brown meat with garlic and onion in olive oil until lightly brown.
- Slowly add 1 can tomato soup and 1 tablespoon of steak sauce.
- Cook 3 ounces of wide noodles until just tender.
- Mix with browned beef and the juice of a small can of English peas.
- Add small amount of oleo to peas.
- Place in small casserole.
- Top with peas, then top with grated mild Cheddar cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake 1 hour on 300u0b0.
- The foil keeps cheese from burning. Remove foil the last several minutes of cooking.
