Creamy Creme Brulee

  1. PREPARE pudding and pie filling with cream as directed on package.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into slightly beaten eggs; mix well.
  4. Return to remaining hot mixture and continue cooking for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. POUR into a 9-inch heatproof baking dish, or individual dishes.
  7. Chill for 3 hours.
  8. SIEVE brown sugar evenly over top of dessert.
  9. Place 2 inches under a pre-heated broiler.
  10. Broil until sugar melts and bubbles, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Serve immediately.
