Creamy Creme Brulee
- 1 pkg pkg (6-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Cooked Pudding and Pie Filling
- 4 cups light cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup brown sugar
- PREPARE pudding and pie filling with cream as directed on package.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir a small amount of hot mixture into slightly beaten eggs; mix well.
- Return to remaining hot mixture and continue cooking for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add vanilla.
- POUR into a 9-inch heatproof baking dish, or individual dishes.
- Chill for 3 hours.
- SIEVE brown sugar evenly over top of dessert.
- Place 2 inches under a pre-heated broiler.
- Broil until sugar melts and bubbles, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
