Hamburger Noodle Bake
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 8 oz. medium noodles, cooked and drained
- 8 oz. sharp American cheese, shredded (2 c.)
- 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato soup
- 1/3 chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimientos (optional)
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. oleo, melted
- In skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender.
- Drain off fat.
- Combine meat with noodles, cheese, soup, 1 cup water, green pepper, chili sauce, pimientos, salt and dash of pepper.
- Mix well.
- Turn into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Combine crumbs and oleo.
- Sprinkle on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes or until hot.
- Trim with green pepper rings, if desired.
