Bacon Appetizer Crescents
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 8 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. cold water
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Beat cream cheese, bacon, Parmesan cheese, onion, parsley and milk in small mixing bowl at medium speed with mixer until well blended.
- Separate dough into 8 rectangles; firmly press perforations together to seal.
- Spread each rectangle with 2 rounded measuring tablespoonfuls of cream cheese mixture.
- Cut each rectangle in half diagonally; repeat with opposite corners.
- Cut in half crosswise to form 6 triangles. Roll up triangles, starting at short ends.
- Place on greased cookie sheet; brush with combined egg and water.
- Sprinkle with poppy seed, if desired.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
- Makes approximately 4 dozen appetizers.
