Crockpot Chicken & Sausage
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 each garlic cloves crushed
- 1 each onions chopped
- 1 each sweet red bell peppers red pepper, chopped
- 1 each green bell peppers chopped
- 1 each zucchini chopped
- 1 each mushrooms, canned
- 28 ounces tomatoes, canned stewed, italian style
- 6 ounces tomato paste one can
- 1/4 pound hot italian sausages
- 2 each chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 dash red pepper flakes optional
- Heat oil in skillet.
- Saute onion and garlic until light brown.
- Remove.
- Add sausage and chicken to brown in the skillet.
- Drain and pat dry.
- In crockpot combine all other ingredients together with the onions and garlic.
- Add the sausage then top with the chicken breasts.
- Cover and cook on low setting 6 to 8 hrs.
