Red Sauce

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic; saute until the bell pepper softens, 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, and Italian herbs.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and allow to simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Season to taste with the salt and pepper.
  6. Serve over hot pasta of your choice.
