honey mustard chicken pasta
- 1 cup uncooked bow tie pasta
- 2 bacon strips diced
- 1/3 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 cup diced cooked chicken breast
- 1 garlic clove ,minced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas,thawed
- 1/2 cup condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/3 cup 2% milk
- 1 tbsp prepared mustard
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp dried parsly flakes
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp grated parmesan cheese
- cook pasta according to directions on package.
- meanwhile in a large skillet cook the bacon over medium heat until Crisp.using a slotted spoon, remove, placing on paper towel, reserving 1 tablespoon a dripping
- in the skillet with the dripping saute the mushroom and onion until tender,
- add garlic, saute for 1 minutes longer,
- stir in chicken ,peas ,soup, milk ,mustard ,honey, parsley, salt ,pepper and bacon.
- cook and stir over medium heat until heated through.drain pasta add to the skillet and cost well.
- sprinkle with parmesan Cheese
