Caramel Apple Muffins
- 2 cups flour
- 34 cup sugar
- 14 cup butter, melted
- 2 12 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
- 12-34 cup apple, peeled and chopped
- 12 cup diced caramel (about 12)
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, combine egg and milk.
- Stir in butter and vanilla.
- Add flour mixture and stir just to blend.
- Stir in apples and caramels.
- Spoon into greased muffin tins.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar(optional) Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
