Szechuan-Style Beef And Broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. HEINZ Chili Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 lb. beef sirloin steak, or flank steak, thinly sliced Whole Foods 1 lb For $7.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (10 oz) Aylmer Beef Broth
- 1 cup Minute Rice Brand Rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 can (10 oz) sliced water chestnuts
- Combine chili sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch and crushed red pepper in bowl.
- Toss with steak.
- Stir FRY steak in oil in large frypan over medium-high heat about 2 minutes or until just cooked.
- Remove from pan, set aside.
- Add broth, rice and broccoli.
- Bring to boil.
- Cover and simmer over low heat 5-8 minutes until broccoli is tender.
- Return beef to pan, add water chestnuts and heat through.
