Rawleigh'S 5 Flavor Pound Cake
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening (soft)
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. butter rum extract
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 tsp. coconut extract
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Cream together butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs which have been beaten until a lemon color. Sift flour, baking powder and salt, then add to creamed mixture, alternating with milk.
- Stir in flavorings.
- Then spoon or pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
