Citrus Barbecued Pork Chop
- 12 oz. boneless pork loin chops King Sooper's 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Barbecue Sauce, any flavor
- 3 Tbsp. grated orange zest Safeway 1 lb For $0.79 thru 02/09
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary leaves
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 4 medium sweet potatoes Safeway 2 pkg For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 1/4 cup trans fat free canola-based soft margarine
- 4 tsp. packed brown sugar
- 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 4 medium oranges Safeway 1 lb For $0.79 thru 02/09
- 32 fl oz (4 cups) fat-free milk
- Place pork chops in nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray.
- Cook on medium heat 4 to 5 min.
- per side, or until cooked through.
- Pour barbecue sauce in medium saucepan; add orange peel, orange juice, rosemary and thyme.
- Bring to boil; reduce heat to low.
- Simmer 5 min.
- Serve sauce over pork chops.
- Bake potatoes in oven or microwave.
- Top each with 1 Tbsp.
- margarine and 1 tsp.
- brown sugar.
- Steam green beans; divide into 4 equal servings.
- Serve each person a fresh orange for dessert.
- Serve each meal with an 8 fl oz glass of milk.
