Beef in Ale

  1. pre heat oven to 180 c.
  2. seal the meat in a little oil whilst browning the onions,.
  3. then add the flour and stir untill all the juices are soaked up.
  4. add the ale stirring all the time than add crushed garlic thyme and bayleaf.
  5. transfer to a casserole dish with a tight fitting lid and ook for 2 1/2 hours.
  6. DO NOT remove the lid whilst cooking.

chuck steaks, olive oil, onions, flour, ale, thyme, bay leaf, garlic, salt
