Cream of Rice Soup/Chowder

  1. In a large saucepan, saute the onion and celery in butter until tender
  2. Stir in flour until well blended
  3. Gradually add chicken broth
  4. Stir in rice, chicken, salt and pepper
  5. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir until thickened.
  6. Stir in evaporated milk.
  7. Cook about another 5 minutes
  8. Stir in parsley
  9. All done & Enjoy!!
