Green Beans with Raspberry Vinegar

  1. Cook green beans as usual in boiling water until crisp-tender; (I cook mine approx.
  2. 6 minutes- you may prefer less time.)
  3. Drain.
  4. Fry bacon until crisp; drain, reserving drippings in skillet.
  5. Crumble bacon; set aside.
  6. Saute onion in reserved drippings until transparent.
  7. Add green beans, vinegar, salt, and pepper; simmer 10 minutes.
  8. Turn into serving dish and top with bacon.
