Eric'S Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 5 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. coconut *
- 1 c. chopped pecans *
- 1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips *
- 2 c. peanut butter or butterscotch morsels *
- Mix the first 9 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.
- Mix in the flour one cup at a time.
- Add the remaining ingredients (choose your wanted combination).
- Do not grease cookie sheets!
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes on center rack of oven.
- For softer cookies, remove from cookie sheet within 2 minutes of removing from oven.
- For crisper cookies, allow to cool 5 to 10 minutes before removing from cookie sheets.
- Cool completely and then store in airtight containers.
