Pumpkin Granola
- 4 cups oats (old fashioned)
- 2 cups puffed rice cereal
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup pumpkin puree
- 13 cup applesauce
- 14 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 34 cup walnuts, chopped
- 34 cup pecans, chopped
- 12 cup raisins
- 12 cup craisins
- mix oats and rice cereal
- combine salt, sugar, pp spice, applesauce, maple syrup and vanilla- whisk well to combine everything until smooth.
- add wet to dry and stir to coat.
- bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 325 for 30 minutes.
- flip granola over and add nuts.
- if it's not all the way dried, stir again (or remove edges) and cook 15 more minutes.
- cool, break up, add fruit.
