Lots of Spring Cabbage! Oil-less Tomato Sauce
- 2 slice Bacon
- 4 large leaves Spring cabbage
- 1 Sweet or new harvest onion
- 1 small Carrot
- 1 can Canned whole tomatoes
- 1 Soup stock cube
- 1 tsp Grated garlic
- 1 Water
- 200 grams Pasta (ones that cooks in 7 minutes)
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- Finely julienne the vegetables and bacon.
- Put all the ingredients and half the water in a pressure cooker, close the lid, and bring up to pressure.
- Cook under pressure for 5 minutes.
- Release the steam to bring down the pressure, and open the lid.
- Add the rest of the water and the pasta and boil for 7 minutes.
- Simmer over high heat to reduce the liquid and it's done.
- Keep mixing so that it doesn't burn.
- Eat while piping hot.
- Hearty yet healthy!
