Lots of Spring Cabbage! Oil-less Tomato Sauce

  1. Finely julienne the vegetables and bacon.
  2. Put all the ingredients and half the water in a pressure cooker, close the lid, and bring up to pressure.
  3. Cook under pressure for 5 minutes.
  4. Release the steam to bring down the pressure, and open the lid.
  5. Add the rest of the water and the pasta and boil for 7 minutes.
  6. Simmer over high heat to reduce the liquid and it's done.
  7. Keep mixing so that it doesn't burn.
  8. Eat while piping hot.
  9. Hearty yet healthy!
