Copy Cat Hard Rock Cafe Pulled Pork
- 4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup Tabasco sauce
- 3 lb pork shoulder
- In a large bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar, sugar, hot water, and Tabasco sauce.
- Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the marinade over the pork, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 450F.
- Remove the pork from the marinade and place in a baking pan.
- Save the marinade.
- Roast the pork until browned, about 1 hour.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 300F.
- Pour some of the reserved marinade over the pork.
- Cover and slow roast for an additional 2 hours, or until the meat pulls away from the bones easily.
- Pull the pork apart into long shreds using 2 forks.
- *You can also prepare this in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4.
