Clam Crisps

  1. Heat oven to 425u0b0.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon butter or margarine in skillet.
  3. Add onion and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat. Add flour and whisk to blend.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire, garlic, clams and clam liquid, stirring constantly.
  6. Cook over low heat until thickened.
  7. Boil 1 minute, stirring.
  8. Let mixture cool. Flatten bread with rolling pin.
  9. Spread each slice with clam mixture.
  10. Roll like jelly roll, cut in half.
  11. Place on baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
