Impossible French Apple Pie
- 6 cups apples sliced, pared
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons margarine softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
- 1 cup biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
- 13 cup brown sugar packed
- 3 tablespoons margarine firm
- Preheat oven to 325F (160C).
- Grease pie plate, 10x1 1/2 inches.
- Mix apples and spices; turn into plate.
- Beat remaining ingredients except for Streusel until smooth; 15 seconds in blender or 1 minute with hand beater.
- Pour into plate.
- Sprinkle with Streusel.
- Bake until knife inserted in centre comes out clean, 55 to 65 minutes; cool.
