Deviled Shrimp Louisiana Recipe
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 pound shrimp, shelled & deveined
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tbsp. garlic spread
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onions
- 1 can (10 ounce.) consomme
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 tbsp. bottled steak sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
- 8 ounce. green noodles, cooked & liquid removed
- Mix the seasoned salt and pepper with bread crumbs.
- Dip the shrimp in the beaten Large eggs, then in the seasoned crumbs.
- Heat the butter and garlic spread and stir to blend the flavors.
- Saute/fry the shrimp in the garlic butter over low heat for 3 to 5 min.
- Remove the shrimp and keep hot while making sauce.
- To the brown bits in the pan, add in the remaining ingredients except the noodles.
- Simmer till the volume is reduce to half.
- Arrange shrimp over noodles.
- Pour the sauce over all.
- Makes 6 servings.
