Hamburger Pinwheels Recipe
- 2 c. buttermilk mix, such as Bisquick
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- 3/4 pound lean grnd beef
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can tomato soup
- Mix biscuit mix and lowfat milk according to directions on package, adding just sufficient lowfat milk so dough clings together, but can be rolled out.
- Roll out on floured board to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Shape into a rectangle.
- Mix grnd beef, onion, salt, and pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread this on dough.
- Roll up as for a jelly roll.
- Slice about 1 inch thick.
- Put slices on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees, about 20-25 min.
- While pinwheels are baking, simmer undiluted tomato soup.
- Serve this over the pinwheels.
