Tomato Soup Cake With Cream Cheese Icing Recipe
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 can undiluted tomato soup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 c. minced nuts, optional
- Sift dry ingredients, add in to melted Crisco and sugar mix.
- Add in egg and soup mix together.
- Mix in floured raisins and nuts.
- Pour into well greased tube pan and bake for 60 min at 350 degrees.
- When cold ice with Cream Cheese icing (as follows) : 1 c. powdered sugar Fresh lemon juice
