Choco Chip Cookies
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. corn flakes, crushed
- 1/2 c. sweet butter, at room temperature
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- pinch of salt
- In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, salt and confectioners sugar; beat with an electric mixer on low speed until combined.
- Add egg yolks one at a time.
- Add flour little by little to the butter mixture, beating with a wooden spoon.
- Add chocolate chips and crushed corn flakes.
- Drop dough by heaping tablespoons on baking sheet.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 5 minutes. Take out from oven and flatten the cookies using the back of a spoon and put back in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Take out and cool on a cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
- Makes 10 to 12 large cookies, 3 inches in diameter.
