Cherry Pudding

  1. Blend together flour, sugar and salt.
  2. Beat egg, add 1/2 cup cherry juice and melted butter, add baking soda mixture, add to flour, sugar, salt mixture.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add chopped nuts and cherries.
  5. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350F (180C) for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and poke holes with a fork and pour hot sauce over pudding.
  7. Cool and refrigerate.
  8. Serve with whipped cream.
