Spaghetti Aglio Olio
- 1 pound Spaghetti, Fettucine, Or Angel Hair
- 6 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 cup Fresh Basil, Chopped
- Salt, To Taste (optional)
- Parmesan Or Romano Cheese, To Serve
- Put water on to boil in large pot.
- Cook pasta until al dente.
- Place garlic, olive oil and red pepper flakes in small sauce pan.
- Let sit until water boils and pasta is close to being done.
- Heat pan to medium high and cook until garlic is lightly browned, 2-3 minutes.
- Place chopped basil in large serving bowl.
- When pasta and aglio olio are done, drain pasta, pour aglio over basil, then add pasta.
- Toss until incorporated.
- Add salt to taste if you like.
- Serve with Parmesan or Romano.
