Bran Raisin Muffins Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Combine first 3 ingredients.
  3. Set aside to cold.
  4. Mix next 4 ingredients and then add in dry ingredients, then the cooled first mix.
  5. Stir in an additional 1 1/2 c. dry all bran.
  6. Fill muffin pans (lined) about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake in 400 degree oven 20 min.
  8. Check after 15 min.
  9. Cold in pans.
  10. Yield: 2 1/2 to 3 dozen muffins.
  11. This recipe is 150 years old.
  12. Always moist.
  13. Freezes well.
