Sausage Stuffing For Poultry Recipe

  1. Fry and crumble sausage till brown.
  2. Pour off, but save drippings.
  3. Add in onion and celery.
  4. Cook till tender.
  5. Add in drippings and 3 c. of the bread cubes.
  6. Cook till the bread is a light brown.
  7. Combine soup and lowfat milk.
  8. Heat, but don't boil.
  9. Add in soup mix to remaining bread cubes.
  10. Combine the two bread mixtures.
  11. Add in parsley and seasonings.
  12. Stuff turkey or possibly chicken just before putting it in the oven.
  13. This yields about 9 c. of stuffing; for about a 10 lb.
  14. fowl.
