Deep Dish Pizza Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Saute/fry grnd chuck, minced onions, minced green peppers in heavy skillet till there is no red in meat and vegetables are tender.
  3. Drain fat.
  4. Set aside 1 Tbsp.
  5. oil.
  6. Saute/fry sliced mushrooms, pepper rings till slightly tender; set aside.
  7. Cover crust with sauce.
  8. Add in meat.
  9. Top with mushrooms, pepper rings, minced olives if you like.
  10. Cover with Mozzarella cheese, grated.
  11. Bake 15-20 min or possibly till crust is golden.
  12. Don't burn the cheese.
  13. Makes 4-6 servings.
  14. VEGETARIAN DEEP DISH PIZZA: Use 1 1/2 c. Vegetarian Burger or possibly Redi-burger or possibly other meat analogues.
  15. Sauce: 1 can pizza sauce.
  16. Cheese: 1 to 1 1/2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese.
