Peanut Butter Crunch Cake
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. chopped nuts
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Beat dry cake mix, brown sugar and peanut butter in large bowl on low speed until crumbly.
- Reserve 2/3 cup of the crumbly mixture.
- Beat the remaining crumbly mixture, water, oil and eggs on low speed until moistened.
- Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl frequently.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Stir nuts into reserved crumbly mixture and sprinkle over batter.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center, 40 to 45 minutes.
