Cheesy Broccoli

  1. Steam the broccoli spears until they are crisp-tender.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  3. Add the flour and pepper and stir constantly for half a minute, until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
  4. Add the milk and cream cheese.
  5. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens and reaches the boiling point.
  6. Add cheddar cheese and blue cheese.
  7. Keep stirring until the cheeses are melted.
  8. This takes anywhere between 1-2 minutes.
  9. Stir in the chopped walnuts once and remove from heat.
  10. Pour this mixture over the steamed broccoli.
  11. Serve warm.
  12. ENJOY!
  13. TIP: Do not discard the tough ends of broccoli stalks.
  14. Use them for making soups.
