Savory Spinach Dip
- 1/4 sticks Butter
- 1 bag (20 Oz. Size) Chopped Spinach
- 8 ounces, fluid Cream Cheese
- 8 ounces, fluid Sour Cream
- 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- 2.
- Stir in the spinach.
- 3.
- Cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- 4.
- Mix cream cheese and sour cream into the spinach mixture.
- 5.
- When the cream cheese and sour cream are blended in, stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and pepper.

- Cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 10 to 15 minutes.
- 7.
- Serve warm.
- You can also transfer this to a crock pot and put on the lowest setting if you are serving it at a party.
- To make this low fat: Spray pan with cooking spray, and reduce butter to only 2 tablespoons (or 1/4 of a stick).
- Substitute out the cream cheese for 1/3 fat cream cheese.
- Replace sour cream and switch to reduced fat sour cream.
- Use only 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.
