Dad's Sausage Stuffing
- 1 lb sausage
- 14 ounces prepared stuffing, cubed
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth or 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans turkey broth
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 head celery
- Cook stuffing according to directions, using broth in lieu of water.
- Remove to a bowl when finished.
- While stuffing is cooking, scramble fry sausage and remove into bowl.
- Using as meat grinder, combine stuffing, sausage, celery and onion.
- Send through a second time.
- Place in turkey if desired.
- Cook stuffing at 350F for about 30 minutes uncovered for crispy stuffing, covered for moist stuffing.
