Pork Tenderloin with Sesame Seeds and Caramelized Onions
- 2 (9 oz. each) pork tenderloins
- 4 tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 tbsp. honey
- 5 to 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds,
- more if needed
- 1 onion, sliced in thin rings
- 2 tbsp. flour seasoned with salt and pepper
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Mix the soy, honey and garlic.
- Place pork in baking dish, pour sauce over and turn to coat.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Roast for 20 minutes in the oven.
- After 20 minutes, spoon sauce over pork, cover loosely with foil, roast for about 10 more minutes.
- In the meantime, place the seasoned flour in a large zip-top bag, add the separated onion rings, and shake to coat.
- Heat some olive oil in a skillet and cook the onions till dark and caramelized.
- Serve onions with the pork.
- We sliced the pork right in the pan and let it soak up the juices from the bottom of the pan.
