Black Bottom Cups

  1. Combine cream cheese, unbeaten egg, 1/3 cup sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt and mix well.
  2. Stir chocolate chips into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. In another bowl, sift the following together: flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients to the flour mixture.
  5. Fill 24 muffin cups one-third full with the chocolate batter.
  6. Top each one with a heaping teaspoonful of the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350u0b0.
