Apple Lasagna Recipe

  1. 1 Combine cheddar cheese, ricotta cheese, egg, white sugar, and almond extract in a medium bowl.
  2. Blend well.
  3. 2 Spread one can apple pie filling over the bottom of a greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
  4. Layer with 1/2 of the noodles, and then the cheese mix.
  5. Layer again with remaining noodles, and the second can of pie filling.
  6. 3 Combine flour, 6 Tbsp.
  7. brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl.
  8. Cut in butter or possibly margarine till crumbly.
  9. Sprinkle over top.
  10. 4 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 min.
  11. Cold for 15 min.
  12. 5 Meanwhile, prepare garnish by blending lowfat sour cream and 1/3 c. brown sugar in small bowl till smooth.
  13. Cover, and chill.
  14. Serve hot apple lasagna with lowfat sour cream garnish.
  15. Makes 12 - 15 servings
