Basic Pancake Mix Recipe

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir together to blend well.
  3. Place in a large container or possibly place in individual storage bags with 1 1/2 c. of the fold in each bag.
  4. Store in a cold, dry place for up to 8 months.
  5. Makes 13 cupsof mix.
  6. To use: to 1 1/2 c. mix add in 1 egg beaten, about 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk (you may need a little more or possibly less) and 3 Tbsp melted butter or possibly vegetable oil.
  7. Mix just till the dry ingredients are moistened.
  8. Cook on a griddle.
  9. Makes about 8.
