Basic Pancake Mix Recipe
- 10 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 c. nonfat dry lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. baking pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Stir together to blend well.
- Place in a large container or possibly place in individual storage bags with 1 1/2 c. of the fold in each bag.
- Store in a cold, dry place for up to 8 months.
- Makes 13 cupsof mix.
- To use: to 1 1/2 c. mix add in 1 egg beaten, about 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk (you may need a little more or possibly less) and 3 Tbsp melted butter or possibly vegetable oil.
- Mix just till the dry ingredients are moistened.
- Cook on a griddle.
- Makes about 8.
