15 Minute Red Beans & Rice
- 1/2 of a medium green pepper, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 of a medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth
- 1 can (15-1/2 oz.) red kidney beans, drained, rinsed
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 2 cups MINUTE White Rice, uncooked
- Cook and stir green pepper and onion in butter in large skillet on medium heat until crisp-tender.
- Add broth, beans and hot pepper sauce; stir.
- Bring to boil.
- Stir in rice; cover.
- Remove from heat.
- Let stand 5 min.
- Fluff with fork.
