Peach Cream Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 450u0b0.
  2. In a bowl, combine peaches, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring. In another bowl, place cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons cornstarch and 1/8 teaspoon almond flavoring.
  3. Blend until creamy; stir in almonds.
  4. Turn cream mixture into unbaked pie shell and spread evenly.
  5. Cover with peaches.
  6. Dot with butter and cover with top crust.
  7. Flute edges and vent top.
  8. Bake in 450u0b0 oven for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 400u0b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
