Italian Marinated Flank Steak
- 2-1/4 qt. KRAFT Light Italian Reduced Fat Dressing
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
- 3 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 9 each beef flank steaks Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- Mix dressing, onion, basil, oregano and garlic powder in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended.
- Pour over steaks in full hotel pan (or half hotel pan for trial recipe); turn steaks over to evenly coat.
- Cover; refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade.
- Place steaks on rack of broiler pan or on hot grill.
- Broil or grill 5 min.
- on each side for color.
- Place in clean full sheet pan (or half sheet pan for trial recipe).
- Bake in 300F-convection oven for 20 to 25 min.
- or until internal temperature reaches 145F.
- Cut meat diagonally across the grain into thin slices to serve.
