Healthy Herb Yellow Rice
- 1 1/2 cup Rice
- 3 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp Parsley
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- 1 tbsp Turmeric
- 1/2 stick Butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Cook rice (I use a rice cooker), dump into large mixing bowl.
- Plop in room temp butter.
- I listed a half stick, but you can do to taste.
- Drizzle in Olive oil.
- Stir until butter is melted.
- Add in turmeric, salt, oregano, parsley and pepper.
- Stir well.
- Until rice develops bright yellow hue.
- Caution: Turmeric WILL STAIN your hands and countertops bright yellow!
- Be careful.
- Portion out and enjoy!
