Sauerkraut And Sausage Bake Recipe

• 1 1/2 pound kielbasa (or possibly pork sausage)
• 1 (27 ounce.) can sauerkraut, rinsed, liquid removed
• 1 tbsp. sliced green onion, with tops
• Packaged instant mashed potatoes (sufficient for 4 servings)
• 4 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

1. Stir together sauerkraut and green onion, turn into 1 1/2 qt casserole.
2. Spread sliced kielbasa over sauerkraut mix (pork sausage should be browned in skillet and fat liquid removed off).
3. Prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions.
4. Stir 2 Tbsp.
5. of the cheese into the potato.
6. Spread potato over sausage, sprinkle with remaining cheese.
7. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees till heated through, 35-40 min.
8. Makes 6 servings.
